Hanoi, 8th November, 2016 – At Asia Pacific Golf Summit 2016 in HuaHin, Thailand on 29th -30th October, Kings Island Golf Resort has again been voted and awarded “Best Course in Vietnam” by Asian Golf Monthly. This is the third consecutive time in 3 years of 2014, 2015 and 2016 Kings Island Golf Resort received this prestigious award that set a record in golf industry in Vietnam. Also at the Conference, Madame Nguyen Thi Nga - Chairman of BRG Group was also honored with awards of “2016 Asia Pacific Life-Time Achievement in Golf” and “2016 Asia’s Most Powerful People in Golf”.
These are the awards within the annual prestigious award system “Asian Golf Award” by Asian Golf Monthly under the Asia Pacific Golf Group (Singapore), held annually to honor outstanding achievements in the industry. Based on the results of the reader poll of professional golfers and evaluation board includes experts in golf in the region, the award has found out the best names for these prestigious awards.
With the prestigious award “Best Course in Vietnam” in 2014, 2015 and 2016, Kings Island Golf Resort has made a wonderful hat-trick, tripple win represeting its outstanding performance in golf industry in Vietnam and put this course in the same list with high ranking golf courses in the region including Mission Hills Golf Club Haikou (China), Yalong Bay Golf Course (China), Sentosa Golf Club (Singapore) and Black Mountain Golf Club (Thailand)…
The entire team at BRG Kings Island has worked tirelessly to continue to improve the overall golf experience which is reflected in this prestigious award.

Along with the award for BRG Kings' Island Golf Resort, Madame Nguyen Thi Nga – Chairman of BRG Group, was also awarded with “2016 Asia Pacific Life-Time Achievement in Golf” and “2016 Asia’s Most Powerful People in Golf” for her great contribution to the game of golf in Vietnam and in the region.
Within the framework of the 2016 Asia – Pacific Golf Conference, two other BRG golf courses were also received the awards with “Best New Golf Course in Asia Pacific” award for Legend Hill Country Club, the first twin-green golf course in Vietnam and Asia designed by Nicklaus Design, and “Best Renovated Course of the Year” award for Ruby Tree Golf Resort.
