The new driving range at Legend Hill Country Club is designed in a “unique” way to allow golfers of all levels to practice and improve their weaknesses whatever they may be. If you are a golfer then you will know that when you play golf you very rarely have a flat lie so you have to set up different, adjust your stance, posture and grip relating to the shot you are trying to hit. At the new driving range, we provide those same situations you face on the golf course at our driving range.
Unlike most driving ranges where they use artificial turf and/or have limited areas to hit balls from a natural grass surface, the new driving range provides an opportunity and experience like no other range in Vietnam. You will have the option to hit from the artificial surface but what separates Legend Hill driving range from the others is the opportunity to hit from different lies on different angles at different greens over bunkers with multiple yardages simulating golf holes that you will experience in every round of golf you play.
If short game is something you would like to work on then we provide a small hitting deck where you can hit your wedges. An undulated green and green side bunker has been designed next to the hitting area to practice all those difficult putts, chips and bunker shots that you face on the golf course. Located on the opposite side of the practice green we prepared a fairway bunker for those who struggle with the longer bunker shots.
Of course you can never rule out the long game, we encourage you to take out the big stick and try to hit our green located a mere 300 yards away. Our new driving range was designed to be customer friendly and make practicing “realistic and productive.” Practicing golf will now be something you want to do and have “fun” doing it.
The new driving range has been constructed to the same exacting standards as the Nicklaus Golf Course including a full USGA specification Putting and Chipping green, all Tee and Fairway areas have a full sand cap with extensive drainage to ensure dry playable areas at all times and all bunkering has been constructed to the same international standard as the Legend Hill Golf Course. A fully automatic computer based irrigation system is installed to ensure the best possible turf condition at all times. Fully certified and imported Platinum paspalum from the USA adorns our Nicklaus Academy endorsed putting green as well as the velvet like teeing area. Combined with 5-star dining and service and the best tuition Vietnam has to offer the Legend Hill Country Club is living proof that “practice makes perfect”.
