Woody Austin claimed his first title in six years on Sunday when he won the Sanderson Farms Championship on the first play-off hole.
Woody Austin: 49-year-old champion
The American ended the event on 20-under alongside compatriots Daniel Summerhays and Cameron, but claimed the title after making a birdie on the first hole of their three-way play-off to win his fourth PGA Tour victory.
"It has been a long road and a long time," Austin said after his round.
"I'm really ecstatic. Now I've got a job again."
The 49-year-old Austin also became the oldest winner on Tour since Fred Funk's victory at the Mayakoba Golf Classic at age 50 in 2007, and the eighth-oldest overall.
Austin and Beckman both carded final rounds of 67, with Summerhays - who led the event for most of the week - needed a 69 to ensure his place in the play-off.
Summerhays missed out on claiming his first title on Tour for the second week in a row after he made a bogey on the final hole at the John Deere Classic last week when a par would have booked him a play-off position there as well.
In the play-off, Summerhays' approach found the water trap which all but ruled him out of contention before Austin even sunk his eight-footer for birdie.
Beckman had an opportunity to take the play-off into a second hole, but missed his putt to hand Austin the victory.
Nicholas Thompson was in fourth place two strokes behind the leaders on -18, while Billy Andrade and Kyle Reifers was another stroke further back.
Two more Americans - Chad Campbell and Bill Lunde - finished in a tie for seventh place on 16-under.
