Teenager Lydia Ko admits she is thinking about turning professional, but says any decision will need to get her parents' blessing.
Lydia Ko: Taking her time over turning pro
Ko, who was the youngest winner on the LPGA Tour last year when she won the Canadian Open, once again upstaged her more illustrious opponents in Edmonton on Sunday as she successfully defended her title with a five-stroke victory.
The 16-year-old is now the first amateur to defend an LPGA title, but she again had to give up her $300,000 prizemoney as she is not professional.
The New Zealand said in February this year she would only turn pro in two years' time and when about it, she replied: "You know, I've always said I'm thinking about it and that's the same answer right here.
"Nothing has changed within the last 72 hours. I'm happy at the moment.
"I think this win will make us think a little better, and think, what is a good option right now."
She added: "I've got some people above me like my mom and dad, they're the boss.
"They're going to help me to make the right decision and to turn pro at what time. I think as I'm only 16 still, it's quite hard to make huge decisions.
"When I turn pro it's like a job. Money is all about it and everything like that, every shot counts. Yeah, I think my parents and New Zealand golf they're all going to have a say, and hopefully we'll make a really good decision on when I will turn pro."
